Three people were killed in a new wave of wireless device explosions in Lebanon.
The Lebanese News Agency reported: “New wireless device explosions occurred in a number of areas in Lebanon,” indicating: “Three people were killed as a result of the explosions in the town of Sahmar, while a number of wounded were transferred to hospitals in the southern suburb.”
Reports indicated that small explosions were heard in a number of Lebanese areas from the south to Beirut.
Yesterday, Tuesday, “pager” communication devices exploded in several Lebanese areas, including the southern suburb of Beirut, areas of southern Lebanon, and the eastern Bekaa.
According to the Lebanese Ministry of Health, the explosions led to the death of 12 people and the injury of hundreds. / End
