The Minister of Communications, Dr. Hiam Al-Yasiri, held a meeting with representatives of the international company Amazon today, Thursday, via video conference technology, to discuss ways to enhance joint cooperation with the Ministry and its affiliated public companies.
During the meeting, according to the Ministry’s statement, a number of important issues were discussed, including the introduction of an Amazon data center in Iraq and the provision of global Internet content at reasonable prices to users.
The Minister stressed the continuation of the partnership with international companies specialized in information technology, including Amazon, in a way that contributes to improving the services provided to citizens and enhancing the country’s economic development.
