Moscow: The Russian Defense Ministry announced today that air defense systems successfully destroyed 24 Ukrainian drones over Russian territory last night.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the ministry stated that a Ukrainian attempt to attack targets within Russian territory using drones was thwarted. The air defense systems in operation intercepted and destroyed the drones, with eight being shot down over Kursk Oblast, another eight over Bryansk Oblast, two over Belgorod Oblast, three over Oryol Oblast, and one each over Rostov Oblast, Nizhny Novgorod Oblast, and the Republic of Crimea.
