Moscow: Russian air defense systems successfully intercepted and destroyed 83 Ukrainian drones over Russian territory last night, as reported by the Russian Defense Ministry today, Friday.

According to National Iraqi News Agency: In a statement, the Russian Defense Ministry detailed the thwarted attempt by Kyiv forces to launch an attack using drones on Russian targets. The air defense systems were able to neutralize the threat by intercepting and destroying the drones across various Russian provinces.

The statement further specified that 36 drones were shot down over Kursk Province, 20 over Bryansk Province, 12 over Crimea, 8 over Voronezh Province, 4 over Oryol Province, and 3 over Belgorod Province.
