Baghdad: Qatari Minister of Transport Jassim bin Saif Al-Sulaiti confirmed today that his country is looking forward to participating effectively in the Development Road.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Al-Sulaiti expressed optimism about Qatar’s role in the ambitious project, emphasizing the country’s commitment to collaborating with other participating nations. He highlighted the project’s significance and its rapid progress, underscoring Qatar’s intention to contribute meaningfully to its advancement.

Al-Sulaiti further elaborated on Qatar’s anticipation of the project’s completion, noting that it is not only Iraq but the entire region that stands to benefit economically. The Development Road is envisioned as a swift conduit for transporting goods from east to west, promising economic benefits for both participating and non-participating countries. He expressed hope for the project’s swift advancement under the leadership of Iraqi Minister of Transport, Razzaq Muhaibis Al-Saadawi.
