Beirut: The Israeli army has intensified its military operations in Lebanon, targeting a border crossing with Syria and launching a series of raids on southern villages. These actions occur amid ongoing clashes between Hezbollah and Israeli forces.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Israeli army has conducted operations on the outskirts of Budai, located in the rugged western chain region. The raids targeted the main road leading to Qald al-Sabaa from the Lebanese side of the Lebanon-Syria border crossing near Hermel. Despite the intensity of these operations, no injuries were reported.
Israeli warplanes have executed multiple strikes in southern Lebanon, specifically targeting areas near al-Bayada, the towns of al-Jabbin, Tayr Harfa, and Shama, as well as the Litani River’s course. Additional targets included Wadi Barghaz, al-Khardali, Ansar, and the outskirts of the town of Sinai.
A particularly violent raid devastated the town of Kfar Shouba, resulting in the deaths of three individuals and se
veral injuries following an Israeli airstrike on a residence in Zrarieh, southern Lebanon.
Concurrently, fierce clashes are ongoing between Hezbollah and Israeli forces in the Shebaa area. The combat involves heavy and medium machine gunfire, alongside heavy artillery shelling. These ground engagements are supported by two preceding air raids conducted by Israeli warplanes.
