Beirut: The Lebanese Hezbollah announced that it targeted the Kiryat Shmona settlement using two suicide drones. The attack was part of Hezbollah’s continued support for the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and their resistance efforts, as well as a defense measure for Lebanon and its citizens.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, Hezbollah issued a statement confirming that the Islamic Resistance fighters conducted the operation on Friday evening, successfully hitting their targets. The statement emphasized the group’s solidarity with the Palestinian cause and the need to protect Lebanon.
In a related incident, the Zionist police reported that 19 individuals sustained injuries following a rocket launched by Hezbollah in the town of al-Tira, located in central Israel. Meanwhile, Hebrew media noted that sirens were activated in several areas including Acre, Nahariya, Haifa Bay, and various towns across the Galilee, indicating heightened tensions and alertness in these regions.
