Baghdad: It was officially announced today, Tuesday, the formation of a new Local Alliance within the Baghdad Provincial Council, which includes members of the “State of Law, Progress, and Foundation” blocs.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, Baghdad Provincial Council member Saddam Sakr Al-Dalfi stated, “The new local Alliance will work in accordance with the directions of serving the capital, Baghdad, and working in accordance with Law No. 21 of 2008, in order to make decisions and issue legislation that contributes to the service reality in all sectors.”
This alliance aims to address various challenges facing the capital by focusing on legislative measures that align with the legal framework established by Law No. 21 of 2008. The integration of the “State of Law, Progress, and Foundation” blocs under a unified alliance is expected to streamline efforts and enhance the effectiveness of governance within the council.
The formation of this alliance signifies a strategic move towards consolidating eff
orts to improve service delivery across Baghdad. The collaboration between these blocs is anticipated to foster a more cohesive approach to addressing the pressing needs of the capital’s residents.
