Baghdad Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein thanked the Palestinian Foreign Minister, Riyad Al-Maliki, for starting the dialogue on the Palestinian issue from Baghdad.
The minister said in a joint press conference with his Palestinian counterpart today: “We need to exploit the victory in Gaza City and activate it politically, and it is necessary to unite the ranks among the various Palestinian actors.”
He added, “We decided the next meeting of the Iraqi-Palestinian committee will be in the city of Ramallah.”
