Baghdad: Baghdad Operations Command forces arrested 16 suspects in possession of drugs and MasterCard cards without authorization, and unlicensed weapons. The command stated in a statement: “The detachments of the Joint Baghdad Operations Command arrested 16 suspects according to various legal articles, including a suspect in his possession (886 MasterCard cards and electronic payment devices) were seized without authorization, and others in his possession of unlicensed weapons and ammunition and in the promotion and use of narcotic substances.”

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the authorities detailed that they confiscated 7 pistols, 5 rifles, a quantity of crystal, its use devices, and expired medicines. Additionally, vehicles and motorcycles found to be violating traffic controls were also seized during the operation.
