Al-Sayhoud: Accelerating the implementation of the strategic development road project will advance the Iraqi economy and enhance its commercial position in the near future

Secretary-General of the Ajial Gathering, MP Mohammed Saadoun Al-Sayhoud, has emphasized the significance of expediting the Strategic Development Road Project to catalyze the Iraqi economy and bolster its commercial standing imminently. Al-Sayhoud highlighted in a press statement today the pivotal nature of the Prime Minister’s recent visit to Turkey, which underscored the urgency of fast-tracking the project.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, The initiative is anticipated to bring about a transformative improvement in Iraq’s economic, commercial, and developmental sectors, given its strategic geographic positioning as a central hub connecting various global continents. Al-Sayhoud elaborated that the project’s advancement will not only enhance Iraq’s infrastructure, including streets, cities, and tourism facilities, but also rejuve
nate its ports, airports, roads, and bridges. This development is expected to restore Iraq’s stature as a formidable economic power, reminiscent of its historical prominence.
