Baghdad: The First Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Mohsen Al-Mandalawi, hosted the head of the National Wisdom Movement, Ammar Al-Hakim, at his residence today, Friday. During the meeting, both leaders expressed their commitment to advancing significant legislative measures and enhancing the oversight capabilities of the legislative body.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Al-Hakim extended his congratulations on the successful election of a new Speaker of the House of Representatives. He emphasized that this development is vital for fulfilling political obligations and bolstering the legislative and oversight functions of the government. Al-Hakim also lauded Al-Mandalawi for his exemplary management of the legislative authority, noting his professionalism and transparency, which have been instrumental in passing several long-stalled important laws.
