KUWAIT CITY: National Security Advisor Qasim Al-Araji met today in Kuwait with the envoy of the Kyrgyz Republic, Nurlan Tokubaev. The discussion focused on enhancing cooperation between Iraq and Kyrgyzstan in combating terrorism and improving border security measures.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the meeting explored ways to strengthen bilateral relations, specifically in the areas of information exchange and expertise sharing on border security. Al-Araji emphasized Iraq’s active participation in international initiatives aimed at enhancing cooperation to combat terrorism. He highlighted the significance of collaboration with both sisterly and friendly countries to address the threats posed by violent extremism and to work towards a more stable and integrated region and world.
