US Central Command Intensifies Efforts to Disrupt ISIS Operations.

Baghdad: The US Central Command announced a collaborative effort with Iraq to target and disrupt terrorists, aiming to hinder their capability to conduct operations against American interests.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the US Central Command revealed that it has been actively engaging with security forces in Iraq and Syria, executing 95 operations to combat ISIS. These operations, which included both strikes and unilateral actions in Syria, resulted in the elimination of 163 terrorists and the capture of 33 others, among which more than 30 were senior and mid-level ISIS leaders.

The statement highlighted that these operations led to the seizure of significant military equipment, potentially crippling ISIS’s ability to conduct future operations. The ongoing pressure has reportedly diminished the operational and planning capabilities of ISIS leaders.

General Michael Eric Kurilla, Commander of the US Central Command, emphasized the coalition’s commitment to continuing its aggressive pursuit of
terrorists. He stated that alongside coalition partners and Iraqi forces, efforts will persist to disrupt operations threatening American and allied interests.
