Council of Ministers Approves Procedures for Population Census.


Baghdad: The Council of Ministers has approved a comprehensive set of procedures for conducting the population census while emphasizing adherence to the Federal Court’s decision concerning the census.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Council decided that the census would be conducted in disputed areas by a collaborative team comprising representatives from the three nationalities: Arab, Kurdish, and Turkmen. Additionally, in areas with a Christian majority, an individual from the Christian faith will be included in the team to ensure accurate representation and data collection.
