Baghdad: Head and MPs of the State of Law parliamentary bloc received the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Mahmoud Al-Mashhadani, who expressed his gratitude for the bloc’s support in guiding the Council’s work to benefit the public interest. The discussions during the meeting covered vital files on both national and political levels.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the talks emphasized the importance of backing legislation that promotes political and economic stability and serves the Iraqi people’s interests. The discussions also explored ways to enhance collaboration among various political blocs to achieve consensus on significant legislative issues within the Council of Representatives.

The representatives of the State of Law bloc reiterated their commitment to supporting the establishment of institutional governance and strengthening the role of parliament in addressing current challenges, aligning with the aspirations of the Iraqi populace. MP Yasser Al-Maliki commended Al-Mashhadani’
s efforts in unifying the perspectives of parliamentary blocs and supporting legislative efforts. He stressed the necessity of ongoing coordination and joint work to propel the political process towards greater stability and development.
