President and Prime Minister Discuss National Progress and Regional Tensions.

Baghdad: The President of the Republic, Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid, and Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani convened to discuss the nation’s overarching conditions and the critical role of cooperative efforts among constitutional authorities.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the meeting emphasized the significance of this collaboration following the recent election of the Speaker of the House of Representatives, which is seen as a pivotal step in bolstering government efforts. This collaborative approach aims to fulfill governmental objectives, particularly in areas such as poverty alleviation, unemployment reduction, service enhancement, corruption eradication, and comprehensive economic reform, thereby promoting stability and social security across Iraq.

The discussions also addressed the evolving regional situation and Iraq’s stance on these issues. There was particular concern regarding the escalating violence in the region, attributed to ongoing Zionist aggression and subsequent crimes in Gaza
and Lebanon, which have resulted in harm to innocent civilians.
