Azerbaijani Ambassador Visits Kirkuk to Foster Educational and Diplomatic Ties.


Kirkuk: Kirkuk Governor Rebwar Taha Mustafa met with the Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Iraq, Nasir Mammadov. The ambassador congratulated the governor on the occasion of assuming his duties as Governor of Kirkuk, stressing the keenness to enhance cooperation between Iraq and Azerbaijan.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Ambassador Mammadov stated that the purpose of his visit was to inaugurate the Fuzuli School. This educational institution was rehabilitated by the Republic of Azerbaijan with the approval of the Ministry of Education and the Kirkuk Government. The initiative is part of Azerbaijan’s ongoing commitment to strengthen educational and diplomatic relations with Iraq.
