BEIRUT: The Lebanese government announced its intention to file a complaint with international courts against Israel, accusing it of targeting journalists. According to National Iraqi News Agency, Lebanese Minister of Information Ziad Makari confirmed the government’s plan during a press conference. He highlighted the presence of 1,638 foreign journalists working in Lebanon, emphasizing the importance of safeguarding their safety and freedom. Makari described the situation in Lebanon as a war against Israel, dismissing the notion of an internal civil conflict, and acknowledged the severe crisis Lebanon is currently facing.
