Baghdad The Popular Mobilization Forces thwarted a massive attack on the remnants of ISIS terrorist gangs, west of Anbar, with 11 armed vehicles.
A statement by the authority stated that the Popular Mobilization Forces in Al-Rutba district, west of Anbar Governorate, responded last night to a terrorist attack after monitoring the vehicles of the remnants of ISIS terrorist gangs through thermal cameras.
It added that a force from the crowd responded to the attack with mortars and heavy weapons, forcing the attacking force to flee and thwarting its plan.
