Baghdad Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi confirmed: “Terrorism will not have a hideout, neither among us nor anywhere in the land of Iraq.”

During his meeting with a number of sheikhs and dignitaries of Tarmiyah district, Al-Kadhimi said: “The terrorist groups are trying to harm people’s dignity by tampering with their security and the services provided to them.”

He added, “We will not allow anyone to target the security services, and combating terrorism is everyone’s responsibility, whether the state or citizens.”

Al-Kadhimi continued, “We directed the security services to cooperate with the citizens and provide them with protection.”

He continued, “We have the army, the security services and the popular mobilization, in which there are your sons, and we have directed all the security services to cooperate with the citizens, and to provide them with protection.”

He went on to say: “We are heading towards the elections, either we choose fighting and chaos, or we choose change and development. I ask our people in Tarmiyah to cooperate with the security services, and most importantly, to engage in dialogue and continue to build our country from every angle. We know that you are making efforts to solve social security problems, and the security services will be of assistance to you.”

He pointed out that the attacks on electric power towers are an insult to all Iraqis, and terrorism aims only to destroy, stressing: “The government is keen to revitalize agriculture, and will provide loans for agricultural development, in order to create job opportunities for young people.”
